It's one for fans of origami
Sara Davies has been sharing some brilliant quick and easy craft tutorials on social media recently and her latest how-to is perfect for gifting on Mother's Day and other special occasions.
The entrepreneur and Dragon's Den star posted a guide to making your own paper box on Instagram and described it as one of her "favourite makes". Alongside a video of her making a pretty box, Sara wrote: "Wanted to share this lovely box with you because it’s one of my favourite makes and kind of like origami but for beginners! It’s all just made from folding some papers! Thought I’d share it now as it will be perfect for Mother’s Day! 🌸"
In the video, Sara can be seen carefully folding a sheet of 12" x 12" floral paper from Crafter's Companion (it looks like she used the botanical-inspired Floribunda paper pad). She adds a handmade gift tag and pretty pink bow for an elegant finishing touch.
This latest tutorial comes after the crafting pro shared how to shared how to make a bouquet of paper flowers to gift on loved ones.
With Mother's Day approaching, it's a great time to experiment with crafting. This beautiful floral wreath and these flower-shaped lavender bags are the perfect thoughtful presents.
